Body Proud Challenge Drug-Free Sports Event for All People Comes to Calgary

Calgary, Alberta (17 October, 2009)

 FAME Pro Derrick Brown in partnership with Body Proud and the Drug Free Sports Association (DFSA), will host the Body Proud FAME Alberta Championship in Calgary at the Quality Inn Airport Hotel & Conference Centre - 4804 Edmonton Trail N.E., on Saturday, October 17, 2009 all day starting at 10:00 AM.
Body Proud FAME Alberta Championships will feature a Fitness Model Search category to identify lean, toned athletes who wish to pursue a career as fitness models for magazines.  Other categories are Fitness, Figure and Natural Bodybuilding.  Competitors are judged on physique, posture, confidence, appearance and presentation.  Winners from Alberta will move on to the FAME International Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on November 6.

FAME welcomes Individuals of all levels (including first timers) regardless of background, titles and/or organization affiliation to take the Body Proud Challenge.  With the help of FAME Role Models and the Body Proud online community, anyone can learn how to feel and look better with its body-sculpting program.

Children, adults, elders and people who are physically challenged can improve their fitness level by developing lean muscle tone, improve posture, increase flexibility, physical strength and build a positive mental outlook with Body Proud methods.

All FAME World Tour competitions follow the Drug Testing guidelines set out by the World Natural Sports Organization (WNSO) and the Drug Free Sports Association (DFSA) to encourage a Natural stage and create an even playing field for all competitors.
